One Twelfth of a Shilling, apart from the obvious answer of One Penny, was a coin issued by the States of Jersey from 1877 to 1964. Other fractional denominations included One Twenty-fourth of a Shilling and One Forty-eighth of a Shilling, possibly recognisable as the equivalent of a British Halfpenny and Farthing respectively.
