I do not precisely know the specific answer, yet on that subject, they DID believe in talking with the Spirits of the deceased IF the spirit was good, and also they prophesied about The Lord Jesus Christ, and when the word was heard from people fleeing from Jerusalem, about HIM, the Celts embraced Christianity. The proof is about if we look at Ireland, how Christian they are. If the Celts had rejected Christianity, there would be very few Christians in Eire, Ireland. I don't know what they thought about spirits in control of all aspects of existence but I doubt it. They were well aware of the existence of Heaven, about Spiritual merit and debt, and about the Heavenly Angels and messengers. They did believe in Spiritual Messengers, such as Guardian Angels.
people who dont believe in the existence of a supereme power
In a way Sikhism does have the most proof of existence as it is the youngest religion out there. Many believe that Sikhism is also the most accurate religion due to its young existence leaving it to be most relatable religion todays world and way of life.
There is no "the" old pagan religion, there were many. Each one had different beliefs regarding deity, so you should clarify your question. i.e. what country/region? Time period? Even then by the very nature of pagan religions being those of people that lived outside of cities, it is highly likely they all had their own interpretations of deity varying from person to person.
Good question, the answer is neither. It is often described as henotheistic, involving devotion to one god, but accepting the existence of others.I believe that they are monotheistic as they believe in one central God- Brahman. Maybe i am wrong?!?Hindu's believe that all other gods are just aspects of Brahman.
monotheistic - they believe in one god who controls everything polythesitic- they believe in many gods, who often control diiiferent aspects of life some religions can be considered both as when multiple gods are aspects of a single entity or when gods are not clearly personified.

People without any organized religion tend to believe in themselves. They believe that what they see is all there is. They believe that their "destiny" is controlled by either themselves or those around them. They believe that when they die that's it, they're gone. They generally believe in the theory of evolution, that we are all here by chance.
Non-religious. A person who does not believe in God is called an atheist. A person who doubts the existence of God is called agnostic.
Well, what's the point of believing in God if your not going to follow him? The bible says "When I call my sheep they listen". Why don't you do the same. Besides, God isn't a religion. religion is stuffing God into a box and Only taking him out when you need him.
Polytheistic religions believe in the power or existence of more than one god. Often these faith systems believe in the existence of many different gods who all control or reign over different aspects of nature, humanity, and reality.
I am Muslim and in our religion we do believe in ghosts as "Gin" they do exist and we do believe in them. It is in our religion.
Atheists do not believe in a god/gods or higher power. Agnostics do believe in a god/gods but believe their/its existence or lack thereof can not be proven. This does not imply the lack of a religion as by this classification Buddhists are atheists.
