There's a sci-fi novel in which the jet stream makes a series of dips from near outer space to the surface of the earth, causing a"random" scattering of deeply and instantly frozen local environments. They are so cold and become so frequent that a new ice age sweeps over the earth in a few weeks, causing somewhat predictable disasters. I do not remember the title nor the author's name, but the fictional scenario seemed possible if very remote. I don't know what research, if any, the author conducted.

Headward erosion is a fluvial process of erosion that lengthens a stream, a valley or a gully at its head and also enlarges its drainage basin. The stream erodes away at the rock and soil at its headwaters in the opposite direction that it flows. Once a stream has begun to cut back, the erosion is sped up by the steep gradient the water is flowing down. As water erodes a path from its headwaters to its mouth at a standing body of water, it tries to cut an ever-shallower path. This leads to increased erosion at the steepest parts, which is headward erosion. (wikipedia)When this happens, the erosion can break through into another stream and the water from the stream is diverted. So the stream is "stealing" the other stream's water.
Yes
your best i ever had
Ground level. Fog is low-lying cloud.
There was a Hurricane Todd in the Pacific in 1998 off the coast of China, but that is it, no Atlantic Hurricane or storm has ever been named Todd. Part of the curse of our name being so far down the alphabetic list
Yes in 1963
no. you cannot go down a level, but you obviously can go up. The higher you are, the longer it takes to level up. If you let your monsters bars go down, you will find it harder to level up, but don't worry. The moshi level will never EVER go down, so good luck buttercup
Like an Ever Flowing Stream was created in 1991-05.
Yes but parallel lines wont ever touch.
Yes. Glen Rose was hit by an EF1 tornado on April 10, 2008.
There are no tornadoes that are made of water, but tornadoes do touch down on water fairly often. Tornadoes on water are called waterspouts.
The longest stream ever recorded is the Nile River in Africa, stretching over 4,100 miles (6,650 kilometers) in length. It is considered the longest river in the world.
Yes. Difficult, and the aircraft must be at low level, but it has been done.

It is only bad if there is a woman in the house. Women, as a group, are rather squeamish about germs and greatly dislike the prospect of having to touch a toilet seat. If it's always left down, then there is no need for them to ever touch it.
