First off, the Jews did not kill Christ, the Romans did. However, ignoring that issue and the long-winded argumentation that would be required to discuss it, the answer is, "No". The Jews in Judaea (which was the Roman province where Jesus lived and was crucified) were free and independent people. The saga with slavery, if it occurred, would have happened nearly 1200+ years earlier.
all sins are major but in my opinion the worst sin was killing the messiah. it was OK though because through them God's promise of having our sins washed away was fulfilled. Technically, the Jews didn't kill Jesus Christ. Then most definitely pressured Pilate into having him crucified, but they - the Jews - did not kill him.
Under the order of Pontius Pilate, after many of the Jews denounced Jesus, Jesus was killed by the Romans. The King at the time was Caesar, but he had no direct role. Herod Antipas was tetrarch of Galliee at the time, but he returned Jesus to Pilate, who reluctantly ordered the crucifixion of Jesus.
The New Covenant took effect the same minute that Jesus Christ died. The New Covenant erased the Death Penalty either by stoning or any other method invented by man. The New Covenant is based on Mercy and Forgiveness and 2nd Chances. Unfortunately 95% of the Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah and son of God by asking the Roman Empire to kill Jesus. The Jews have until this day of the 21st Century innocent blood in their hands for asking the Romans to kill Jesus so the Jews are not God's people at all.
Jesus was crucified by the Jews with the permission of the Roman government. But, through our constant denial of Him we also crucified Him.Answer:The Pope himself says that the Jews did not kill Jesus. See the attached Related Link.
Kill? No, sweetheart. I think you have mistaken Christ for somebody else. Christ Jesus did and does not murder. He never sinned, for God made Him that way. No deceit was found in His mouth.
