Yes Nick started in Broadway and then got a solo deal but his brothers helped him with the song Please Be Mine and the company wanted to sign them all when they heard it.
^ missed some stuff. nick first was singing while Denise (mother) was getting here hair cut. a producer heard him and began putting him on Broadway. from there they went to Columbia records and nick, joe and Kevin wrote please be mine and got all three of them signed.
