So, the Crusades were military expeditions fought by the Europeans to win back the Holy Land. The First Crusade was called by the Pope (Urban II). The Crusades successfully captured Jerusalem in 1099 and massacred its inhabitants.

he saved his troop when they were captured by the Turks he had to kill 5 Turks
Do win he had to kill Saladin, take Jerusalem, and get more troops and supplies.
there tactics were to get the holy lands back and to win the crusade.
