Since your flesh, or skin, is no longer supported by your body, it begins to deteriorate. Bacteria help speed up the deteriorating process, and your skin begins to disappear off of your body. It then decomposes, and other bacteria help the decomposition process. If a body is buried in the ground, without a casket, bugs and other creatures begin to eat the flesh, until all the skin that was on the body is gone.
they thought that uncleanliness and the gods were the cause for diseases and illnesses. they thought that if the had committed a sin, the gods would punish them for it. they also kept clean to avoid disease because they thought that bugs and dirt caused it. that is why Cleopatra bathed in milk - she thought it would keep her clean and make her smell better and said that milk was much better for bathing in than water so it prevented her from getting an illness. of course the milk made no difference and she died in the end by trying to introduce a new cure - the snake bite (which only ended up killing her) HOPE THIS HELPS XX

Around half of bugs or insects are plant-eaters, eating leaves, roots, seeds, nectar, or wood. Praying mantises are predators, hunting other small creatures. Fleas and lice are parasites, eating the flesh or blood of larger animals without killing them.
