No, they have not broken up.
No, they have not at this current time.
Long story short: Ben Bruce, guitarist for Asking Alexandria, used to have another old band in Dubai, United Arab Emirates called Asking Alexandria, James Murray was the vocalist of that band. They broke up, Ben moved back to England, started another band and named it Asking Alexandria because it was hard thinking of band names, he personally said himself. So, it was James Murray.
They got their name while they were having a conversation about how to come up with it. The lead singer has a cousin named Alexandria, and they were having trouble on coming up with one, when the drummer said "Hey, Lets try asking Alexandria for a name." Then the lead singer stopped him, told him to repeat the sentence, and like the sound of Asking Alexandria, and boom. They got their name. ^ that whole story is a lie haha... ben bruce was in a different band and they were named asking alexandria that band broke up, so ben went and formed a different band but he liked the name asking alexandria so he kept it. there is no meaning behind the band name just a name ben bruce liked.
Ben Bruce.
Well, Asking Alexandria is my favorite band so idk if I'd say theres any better but I guess it all depends on what type of rock music you're talking/asking about... I also love A Bullet for my Valentine, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Avenged Sevenfold, I See Stars, D.R.U.G.S, and a lot more... if you don't know some of those LOOK THEM UP!!!
It is highly unlikely at the current time.
I believe so, I'm only saying that because they haven't made music in a couple years, if they didn't they should only because bands like Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon and Falling In Reverse are causing them to shadow down, good band though. Or at least, was.
No, Skillet is still a band.
Stand Up and Scream Reckless and Relentless Stepped Up and Scratched
