It's a rather unspecific question. It is probably fair to say they didn't get on when they opposed each other, namely in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812! But they fought as close allies in both world wars, once America chose to join those conflicts. And while there were of course rivalries and disagreements, the word "hate" certainly isn't appropriate to describe them.

Since the end of the second world war the two countries have been about the closest allies of all NATO, and fought together in Korea, both Iraq Wars and presently Afghanistan and Libya. Of course there remain political differences from time to time - British people are outraged that America is equivocal at best over the Falkland Islands, given how much British blood has been spilt in what the public generally considers "American Wars" in the Middle East, and on an operational level friendly fire incidents have caused great distress, but to say the British army hates the US army nowadays would be totally inaccurate.
