It is a simple question for which I do not have a simple answer as of May 4. There are a lot of efforts being made to keep the oil spill away from area beaches through oil booms, but bad weather and winds can make containment difficult. The containment dome is scheduled to be installed very soon. The spill has been moving eastward, towards Florida, but destined to reach Florida? I'm just not sure.
