Christian thought Jews poison the water. Most of the Jews didn't caught the Black Death; Jews were clean, they didn't had any germs. because they have to wash themselves before eating and prayers.
I suppose if anyone were to blame for it, it might be the ship owners of the ships that brought the plague infested rats from port to port. However, at the time, many people blamed the Jews because they tended to be the scapegoats for most everything.
