If by the revolution you mean the Bolshevik Revolution, then no, the tsarist government did not support it. If they had supported it, there would have been no revolution, just a peaceful transition of power.

Was the 1905 revolution in Russia really a revolution?

The January 9, 1905 revolution (Bloody Sunday) is coconsidered a revolution not because it resulted in the complete overthrow of the existing government (the Tsar), but because it resulted in the Tsar creating a democratic legislative body that was supposed to make laws. This was a partial change in the government where the Tsar had the only say in how government operated. It also changed the way the Russian people thought of the Tsar. Before the revolution they thought he was genuinely interested in their situation and referred to him as their "little father." This changed completely when his palace guard shot down many unarmed peaceful demonstrators that day.

Who led the Decembrist Revolution and what did they want?

The Decembrist Revolution occurred in Russia after Tsar Alexander I died and it was kind of a competition for power and the position of the Tsar. It was not really lead by any one person, it was a bunch of people each trying to gain power for themselves. The revolution ended when Tsar Alexander I's relative, Tsar Nicholas I, took his place as the tsar of Russia. Tsar Nicholas I was very conservative in his rule to try and stop revolts such as the Decembrist Revolution from happening again. I hope this helped!
