they continued the show until ep. 167. then they decided to let the viewers just read the manga. then Sunrise started up the anime again in may. they called it inuyasha: kanketsu-hen, or inuyasha: the final act for the english-speaking people. Hulu has its own eng-subbed version, and the eng-dubbed version is in the making.
the show has ended, however, and so has the manga. the final act has only (sadly) 26 or so episodes.
