I used to work for them in two shops in the north east.i myself have been trying to find out if there is a waring & gillow museum just this week (21/3/09)The Gillow museum is in the "Judges Lodgings" in Lancaster, Lancashire. The Waring & Gillow showroom building and workshops are still in existance. Part of the showroom is a nightclub and the main workshops are split into units with various uses. The loading bay in the old workshop yard has Mosquito spars incorporated into it's roof. Gillows was established about 1730 and the factory closed down 1962.
