Egyptians who were in the wealthy class had many luxuries. Commoners had village houses. Houses in Ancient Egypt were not very sturdy. The houses crumbled in about two years. A wealthy person's house was very beautiful. They had many places and rooms in their house. Some of these places were the family chapel, chariot house, central hall, garden, pool, main entrance, and stables. The workers worked and slept in the servants' quarters, kitchen, gatekeepers lodge, grain silos, and the stables. Wealthy people's Ancient Egyptian homes were very colorful. Rich Noblemen liked to make their walls detailed with pictures. Most pictures on wealthy Ancient Egyptian walls were gods and goddesses(compound subject) they worshiped.
