he could still have it in. septum piercings u can hide and don't need to take them out so it could be hiden

More then likely they'd have you take out the nostril piercing before they pierce the septum. You should have no problem with the nose ring and septum ring getting caught on each other afterwards though.

No way to tell. It really just depends on your body. From what I've heard, septums usually shrink up quickly. Why would you need to take it out? If it needs to be hidden, you can just flip it up or wear a straight bar in it.
