The average velocity is trying to find how fast the car is going at an average rate. However, constant velocity means that the car is going at an unchanged velocity. Say a car is going at 75 m/s and then changes to 50 m/s and then changes to 25 m/s in 30 minutes. The car is going at different velocities at different times. To find the average, you simply just add the 3 together, then divide by 3 giving you, 50 m/s

In the 30 minutes, it's average velocity was 50 m/s However, for a car going at a constant velocity, it means that the velocity never changes. Say a car is going at a constant velocity for 30 minutes at 50 m/s. In those 30 minutes, the car will never change it's velocity and remain at 50 m/s. Constant means that it doesn't change.

Avg velocity is the speed you are going. Constant acceleration is the rate you increase your speed.

What is the difference between uniform velocity and constant velocity?

i think these are different.

What Is the difference between velocity and average velocity?

Velocity is an instantaneous measure. Mathematically, it is the limiting value of the change in the position vector divided by the change in time as the latter tends to zero. Over larger time periods, the average velocity is the total change in the position vector divided by the total change in time. If velocity is constant, the average velocity will be the same as the instantaneous velocity.

Is it possible to tell the difference between moving at a constant velocity and not moving at all?

No. You can't tell the difference, for one reason: There IS no difference.

What is the difference between constant velocity and variable velocity?

Constant velocity has speed always constant along the direction with respect to time. Variable velocity changes its speed with respect to time. Constant velocity has zero acceleration. Variable velocity has non-zero acceleration . An object moving at a constant velocity maintains both the same speed and direction. An object moving at a variable velocity can be changing speed or direction of travel or both.

What is the acceleration in science if you know average speed and time?

If you know average speed then you cannot determine the acceleration: the very nature of being a average hides all the increases and decreases in speed which are the accelerations (technically, acceleration is change of speed in a direction). All average speed tells you is the constant speed at which you require to travel to cover the given distance in the given time; as the speed is constant, the acceleration is zero.

What is difference between an object moving with uniform acceleration and an object moving with a constant velocity?

A motion with a constant speed will always be moving the same speed A motion with a constant acceleration will constantly be gaining speed, and does not remain moving at the same speed.

Difference between instantaneous and average velocity?

average velocity is the displacement over time while instantaneous velocity refers to the velocity of an object at one point or at as pecific point of time. *displacement is the difference between the initial position and the final position of an object. (distance 2 - distance 1)

Is the velocity constant for an object in uniform circular?

Answer: No, the speed is constant, but the velocity changes, since the direction changes. Please be sure you understand the difference between "speed" and "velocity", as used in physics. Speed is scalar which has only magnitude but not direction Whereas velocity is having both. So is a vector quantitiy

What is the difference between constant and non-constant motion?

Acceleration is the difference between constant and non-constant motion.

What is the different between constant velocity and constant speed?

constant velocity is when you maintain speed and direction, this usually is in a straight line, and constant speed means that your speed is always constant at all times.

What is the difference between free fall and terminal velocity?

The difference between free fall and terminal velocity i that free fall is when an object is falling or descending through the air with little air resistance or drag. Terminal Velocity, on the other hand is when the resistance of air and the force of gravity balance each other out causing the object to reach a constant velocity. .

What is the difference between constant speed and speed?

Constant speed is constant velocity which means your going a certain speed in a straight line. Speed is just your speed at an exact moment also called instantaneous speed
