there are roughly only 50 spartan iis left, due to the fatal augmentation process, and they were trained when they were kids. However there are about 300 spartan iiis left, and were trained as adults.

∙ 13y agoSPARTAN II's training and augmentation had a far less % of survivability, but they were more effective and less expendable, While SPARTAN III's are the exact opposite. They were able to produce more at a quicker pace, but they usually didn't survive as long as SPARTAN IIs did.
