Loosely coupled microprocessors are more like independent processors joined via a small communication link (a high speed bus or cable). This means that the connected microprocessors have their own local memory sets. They are low in performance. Also only microprocessors that can work independently may be used.
Tightly coupled microprocessors share a common memory for the purpose of communication. One processor (slave) is dependent on the other (master). They are good at performance. The connected processors also have local memory sets for general purposes.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TIGHTLY COUPLED ANDLOOSELY COUPLED MULTIPROCESSOR
TIGHTLY COUPLED LOOSELY COUPLED
(1)
Tightly-coupled
multiprocessor systems
contain multiple CPUs that are connected atthe bus level. These CPUs may have access toa central shared memory (SMP orUMA), ormay participate in a memory hierarchy withboth local and shared memory (NUMA).

oosely-coupled
multiprocessor system(often referred to as clusters) are baesd onmultiple standalone single or dual processorcommodity computers interconnected via ahigh speed communication system .
(2)
Tightly-coupled systems perform better & arephysically smaller than loosely-coupled system.
(2)
Loosely coupled system is justOpposite of tightly coupled system.
(3) More expensive.
(3)
Less expensive.
(4) In a tightly-coupled system, the delayExperienced , when a message is sentfrom onecomputerto another is short, and data rate is high; that is, the numberof bits per second that can be transferredis large.
(4)
In a loosely-coupled system, the opposite istrue: The inter-machine message delay islarge and thedata rateis low.
(5) For example, two CPU chips on the sameprinted circuit board and connected by wiresetched onto the board are likely to be tightlyCoupled.
(5)
For example
,
two computers connected by a2400 bit/sec modem over the telephonesystem are certain to be loosely coupled.
(6) Tightly-coupled systems tend to be much moreenergy efficient than clusters. This is becauseconsiderable economies can be realized bydesigning components to work together fromthe beginning in tightly-coupled systems.
(6)
loosely-coupled systems use components thatwere not necessarily intended specifically for use in such systems.

Closely coupled configuration keeps the microprocessor coupled together at a close proximity. However, a loosely coupled configuration of the microprocessor does not maintain the closely coupled proximity.
Yes, the Pomeranian breed is closely related to the German Spitz.
A genus is the next higher taxon up from species. It is a group of closely related species.
For example, the difference between 10 and 20 is 10 - this difference is obtained by simply doing a subtraction. The percent difference is more closely related (but not identical) to a ratio; in this case, the difference is 100% (if calculated upwards), or 50% (if calculated downwards). The 100% is calculated as follows: [(20 - 10) / 10] x 100
is a number of linked systems, working together closely ,so that they form a single computer
A camel has a hump on its back and is not patterned. A giraffe has a long neck is patterned and has no hump on its back.
Glatt kosher is stricter, meaning that kosher animals get checked more closely for any scars in their lungs.
Linked genes are closely located on the chromosome while unlinked genes not closely located. Linked genes travel together as a result of their closeness while unlinked genes move randomly.
A solid's molecules are packed more closely together than a liquid's and are usually locked into a grid to form a crystalline or lattice structure.
it depends on how old the precedent is, how closely related is it to the case you are looking at and the difference between your precedent and crown/defense lawyer's precedent
The particles in a solid solution are packed closely together, they vibrate. The particles in a liquid solution are spread more.
I am a girl. Of course we do however there are some girls who just don't pay attention and look closely
Cheetahs are larger cats that run down their prey with astounding speed. Servals are stalkers, closely related to the lynx family of cats.
