Diferen t between CD 750mb and DVD 850mb
The main difference between a CD driver and a DVD driver have to do with the protocols that operated individual programs.
Cd's are played in a CD player and dvds are played in a DVD player.
CD Roms can only Read CD's such as VCD, Audio CD, mp3 CD.DVD Roms can read any CD's such as VCD, Audio CD, mp3 CD and also read DVD's such as DVD Video, DVD Audio & DVD mp3's.
A DVD has a higher capacity than a CD
Right Well Here Goes....A CD-Rom is the general term for CDsA CD-RW means Rewritable so you can go over burnt data multiple timesA CD -R means Writable so it can only be burned onceA DVD is a generalized terms for DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs, but generally most dvds are RWAnd a CD-worm is Write Once Read Many which is Cd data that can never be erased once burnt so it doesn't get accidentally lost. People such as Governments agencies or large enterprises tend to use these.Hope this helped.XeroShadow =]
No! The eye is only formatted to TT2 CD device (CD's) U can play CD's in a DVD device.
In my experience, the laptops have slower drives in terms of read speed.
a CD is 700 megabytes and uses an infrared laser. a DVD is about 4.5 gigabytes and uses a red laser commercially Dvd's are for movies and new software and Cd's are used for music and older software
Cd r can be used once and cd rw can be written on over and over
the dvd you watch to and the cd you listen to.
DVD did not replace CD, DVD is a movie, CD can be anything like a software downloader ir music.
Dvd is better than CD because the dvd can store more data than the CD
