It depends on where are you standing, over the North pole, or over (or should I say under) the South pole. If you are at the north pole, the Earth appears to spin counter clockwise and at the south pole, clockwise.

If you view the Earth from space, with the north pole up and the south pole down, it will spin moving left to right at the equator.

It depends on whether you are looking at the earth from the top or the bottom. The sun appears to move from the east to the west, therefore if you were looking directly 'down' at the north pole, the earth would appear to be spinning anti (counter)-clockwise, and if you were looking 'up' at the south pole, the earth would appear to be spinning clockwise.
