Coaxial cable has a few disadvantages.
1) It tends to be more ridged and more difficult to bend around tight corners.
2) It has a tendency to pick up signals around it unless shielded. This is called the induction effect. Power Transformers, high signal cables, home power lines can all cause interference on the cable.
3) Imperfect shielded can cause a grounded loop. You'll see this some times on older cable TV Boxes where you have a bar of slight distortion that just runs across the screen over and over again, perhaps slowly upward? Proper installation with good grounded will limit this.
4) For the most part 10base2 is about as fast as you'll ever get on a coaxial cable without special circumstances.
5) It's ancient and being phased out except for special use by cable companies and some telcoms.
the coaxal cable is only one cable there for one cable does it all sound video and everything else then the three stage video cord with one for each is three stages ahead then super video has lots of connectors then there is componet video which is three steps ahead of the thrre stage cord then there is hdmi which does it all video and sound
They are very difficult to install and bend because of the outer jacket.
Luke Fox being the greatest in the world is one hell of an advantage! It breaks easily though and has to replaced regularly.

fiber optic cables, coaxial cables, and twisted pair cables.
coaxial
Coaxial cable (multiple cables with a common axis) is widely used for signalling as the outer cable acts as a screen for the inner cables. Coax is ideal for short/medium distance signals - it's easy to interface to, and cheap. For longer distance, it has some disadvantages - the signal starts to decay over distance and repeaters have to be used to reamplify the signal.
A cabling element that does not commonly occur in coaxial cables is cladding.
