Its not right. Both male and female have equal chancesw of getting infected once got exposed to HIV. How ever, males are better prepared for prevention since there is wide use of male condoms compared to female condoms. In many societies of the world, people are not aware about even the availability of female condoms. Second one is the educational factor. The male literacy rate is higher than the female ones. This increases awareness among the males. Third one is openness on sex talk. Males are more open for the talk on sex, which again leads to increase in the awareness. Females traditionally have the cultural barriors on such topic in many parts of the world. Last one is prostitution. Female prostitutes are more in no as compared to male.
