Mononucleosis and herpes are diseases that can be transmitted by kissing. Streptococcus infections, cytomegalovirus, hand, foot and mouth disease, and the three types of hepatitis can also be transmitted this way.
Almost all diseases cannot be caught from kissing someone. You can however get bacterial and viral infections from kissing someone who has those infections.
Kissing is safer. Cunnilingus you can still get sexual transmitted diseases.

many diseases can be spread from that. doctors call them kissing diseases, because they require alot of contact, and can't be spread by, for example, the touching of a doorknob like the common cold. Mono is one of these diseases.
Not any moreso than heterosexuals who kiss.

Kissing does not 'cause' illness. Kissing can spread diseases, which include colds, mononucleosis, flu and other virus and bacteria born illnesses. The exchange of bodily fluids of any type (Blood, saliva, semen and mucous) can spread serious diseases.
There are many diseases you can get from kissing, but not tumors, tumors are a mutation in the skin, and it's not contagious, so no you cannot.
Mononucleosis herpes, warts, colds,and hepatitis can all transmitted by kissing. While kissing can spread diseases like these it is not a common occurrence when considering the number of people kissing daily to the number of instances of disease.
