Well I like baths to chill and relax
All the baths had to be paid for. It was a small amount but they still did have a charge.Roman baths were not free, but they were cheap enough so that even the poorest people could afford to go to the bath at least once a week. For the more wealthy it was usually every day.
to make people more smoother
The Romans Have Given us the aqueduct, sanitation, roads, loads more !
The costs varied, but they were minimal. The quadran was the lowest denomination of Roman coin and the general bath fee was usually one quadran. However many times the baths were free, as when they were dedicated, or in celebration of some event, the emperor or celebrity of the moment would give free entrances to the baths for a year.
In the Roman baths, there were two categories of slaves. One type of slave was the bath house slave who took the entrance money, provided towels and any other need of the client. These slaves of the bath houses also saw to it that the water in the various rooms was of the proper temperature and acted as general attendants. The second type of slave was the personal slave who accompanied the master to the baths. His job was to keep an eye on the master's possessions, especially his clothes, as thefts were common in the public baths.
The answer to whether baths or showers are more popular in homes depends on which country you live in. In Canada, showers tend to be more popular as they use less water overall.
most guys would prefer shower, just because it's quick and easy. most girls would take bubble baths if they have time. depends...showers to get clean....and baths to relax
in 2009 there were 100,000,000 bathtubs sold in the u.s. although more than that already owned one i recommend if your not taking baths or showers you should immediately.
warm water
Slip resistant flooring is available for showers and baths. A number of bath mats are available as an alternate and more cost effective solution.
yes, it does. when you take shorter showers, you conserve more water
it depends how long you run your shower and how full you fill your bath I was going to say a bath, but I like your answer better because it sounds like something I would have said!
Most people bathe maybe once a day, once every other day, a couple of times a week or just take a shower. The majority of people who wash are taking more showers then baths! I mean- who bathes these days (not many people)? x
Shower, most likely. If the water temperature is the same, then it all depends on the amount of water used. If you take short showers, then showers use less energy. If you take super long showers, then either take a bath, or hurry up. I'd think that it's more common to take cold showers than cold baths as well.
taking a shower is important or else you will smell. it is unhealthy to not take showers. so yeah, i do take showers. shower everyday 365days a year sometimes more in summertime takes 2 showers a day during the hot season
no because girls go threw girl things and if they dont take a shower usally they will smell like fish or worst
The name of the Roman baths was thermae. Only in the city of Rome, where there were many baths, there were distinctive names for baths: the Baths of Agrippa, the Baths of Nero, the Thermae Etrusci, the Baths of Titus, the Baths of Domitian, the Baths of Trajan, the Baths of Caracalla and the Baths of Diocletian. Thermae Etrusci is a term coined by historians. They were commissioned by Claudius Etruscus, a freedman at the court of the emperor Claudius who became the head of the imperial financial administration.
