blah balhh all right, you should not put a toad and a newt together just because they are both fire bellies they might fight all the time and the newt does not secrete as much as toxins as the toad does and also the newt is much stronger so he will kill your toad and maybe eat him and there are a lot more reasons to. I'm sorry to say so but it is a terrible idea to do that. Hope that answered your question. Bye.

I disagree with the previous poster. I kept 2 firebelly toads and a firebelly newt together in the same cage for years and they were fine. As long as they are about the same size, I can't imagine there is any way the newt will attempt to eat the frog.
I agree with the second answer. I have seen people with FBT and FBN together
Yes, usually they can without a lot of competition. But sometimes it might not work out, and they can get into a fight.
personally I have two fire bellied toads, one marbled salamander, and a fire salamander.
I have 2 firebellys and 2 bullfrogs they are doing good together.
No, not usually. Fire belly Toads and Newts are put together all the time, and seem to enjoy each other's company. If they do start to fight, separate them right away.
Yes, as long as the fish and Fire Bellied Toads are around the same size and the toads have a place were they can get out of the water if they want to.
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can tell, as long as there is plenty of food in your tank for the turtles to eat and not think of your frogs as prey they should be fine, but like I said I'm not sure.
fire is 1 bellied is 2 and toad or toads is 1 all together is 4
Fire-bellied toads breed from May to September.
They are fire bellied because the toads heat up to much.
Yes, they have webbed feet and toads need water.
Im not sure if it is recomended... But i keep my fire belly toad and baby razorback musk turtle and some fish in a 10 gallon for awhile now and they have never had any problems. hope that helped Jill

If you put 2 f. bellied toads together in the spring and summer, the male will bark and the female will respond by having sex w/ the male.
