One bit me last summer close to my elbow but on the thicker part of my lower arm. It swelled up quite large and became very, very, warm to the touch and turned red. There were two fang marks that oozed clear liquid for about 2 weeks. It was very uncomfortable.

I just found one for the first time last Monday and the biology professor at Wayne State College, (North East Nebraska) said it wasn't venomous. I found mine walking across the gravel drive way on a farm in Central Nebraska (Near Grand Island).
