Let me try and rephrase this question so it makes sense. I see two possible questions:
"Does an athesist pray in school?"
No. Atheists do not believe there is a god or gods, therefore, they would have no reason to pray.
Or, "Do athests believe in prayer in school?"
People are free to do as they wish (in the U.S., at least) and that includes praying while in school, if they wish.
However, atheists who value the separation of church and state insist that prayer should NOT BE LED in publically-funded schools. This imposes a religious belief on others.
im an atheist, but don't you only pray at church and before you go to sleep? that wouldn't really take away from school work. and school is easy.
Because I am an atheist.
It means that the school is a Christian school, and that prayer is part of the curriculum of the school. In point of fact it is the most important of all the teachings of the school. Whatever else you learn in school it will not get you to heaven, prayer on the other hand will certainly help you along the way.
No. Not in public school at least.
dont do it let him/her be an atheist its so much easier
Organized prayer in public school violates the First Amendment Establishment Clause.
Prayer isn't allowed in schools.
for prayer
No Ryan's a atheist, his father put him in Catholic school to help him "fit in." Actually Ryan is Roman Catholic. He is not Atheist.
yes liberals are against prayer in school and conservatives are for it
School Prayer A Community at War - 1999 TV was released on: USA: July 1999
Schools can accommodate Muslim students' prayer needs during school hours by providing a designated prayer space, allowing for flexible scheduling of prayer times, and respecting the religious practices and beliefs of these students.
