Not too much at all, it was the obvious path for Bella and edward to go down. the author didn't really want to carry on with the series, wouldn't be much to really write about after breaking dawn. Bella getting pregnant and marrying edward was an appropriate ending to the series. Tied it up well.

In the end, Bella is still torn between Edward and Jacob. Then, Edward perposes to Bella, and she hesitates, and then agrees. Jacob threatens to kill himself, but, to calm him down, Bella kisses him and Jacob and Bella just remain as friends throughout the end and the last book, Breaking Dawn.
