Before Bengal Tigers were endangered, they were found all over India except for the state of Jammu and Kashmir. That area is in the Himalayan mountains, and does not have the forest to support a tiger population. Bengal Tigers can now be found still in Bangladesh and Nepal.
There is no such animal as the snow tiger. There are six subspecies of tigers: Siberian, Bengal, Sumatran, South China, Malayan, Indo Chinese. The Siberian lives in an area where snow falls in fall and winter, and the rare white tiger is only a color phase of the Bengal.
A swampy area is called a wetland. It begins with the letter W.
Yes. Areas get swampy from moisture.
Bengal Tigers are carnivores, meaning they mainly eat meat. Bengal Tigers will eat animals such as, deer, monkeys, porcupine, and more. If the area they are hunting is not populated with animals as much as other habitats, they will stick to birds, rodents, and even insects. If we keep on destroying forests for wood, buildings, space, etc. Bengal tigers will likely starve, and may even go extinct.
"Black Panthers" do live in the rain forests. But these are the only kind of panthers that do. They live there with the assistance of their black color.
Bengal Tigers have natural instincts. They learned the area, their surroundings & figured out how to hunt in that area. As long as the climate can match the animal, they will be okay anywhere. (Given they have food, shelter & access to water)
If a cave is available, they may use it as a den, but tigers are top predators, and can sleep undisturbed wherever they find themselves, as their territory may be hundreds of square miles in area.
