No. I won't get a dog that does not like children. That's why I'm planning to get a golden retriever dog which is very friendly

We're curious too! Our dog is nearly identical, but he's a mutt. There is a breed of dog called a Berger Picard, or French Shepherd, that's very similar. The dogs used in the movie "Because of Winn Dixie" were that breed. Actually, the dog from the commercial is a rescue dog named Chopper. I'm pretty sure he is a mixed breed also. According to the American Kennel Club's website, the dog does not match any of the dogs in the terrier group. And he is definitely NOT a West Highland terrier, as someone has claimed in a different version of this question. I have a dog that is the idenical twin for this dog and she is a rescue also. Everyone said she looked just ilke the dog in the movie because of winn dixie. Her name is now Dixie. She was found running loose in East St Louis and rexcued by a group called Stray Rescue. I also felt she was a mix, but she looks alot like the Berger's Picard It looks a lot like a border terrier mixed with a schnauzer. Could just be a border terrier.! Google border terrier and look at the images for it . There is a blond colored one that looks a lot like "trouble". Too weird our Dog who was a rescue dog out of south st. Louis looks just like the dog from the commercial, even rolls around and scratches her back like the one in the commercial. I wonder if our dogs our brother and sister.
No country actually says berger instead of burger. It is mostly the accent of Eastern European countries such as Germany combined with the word burger that sounds like berger.

it depends on how old the children are 0 to 5 years you need a small type of dog like a Yorkie or miniature poodle. 5 and older you should get a bigger dog like a corgi or collie. Do some research on the type of dogs you like. Theres a website dogchannel.com they have a test you take and then it shows names of dogs that fit you pick 4 you would like to look at it will show you some pictures. Be careful with children around small dogs. Yorkies and minature poodles aren't tolerant of little children and will bite if the child inadvertantly hurts the dog. Very small children should be around calm natured, tolerant dogs. The size is less important than the temperment.
The Hard Times of RJ Berger is a repulsive show about the life of a "typical" high school student.
