Well the it is good to respect other religions otherwise we would not get on,there would be war and chaos everywhere we go!
Yes!! Who said they did not have a right? If Christians are nasty I know why! Just Joking.
Christians believe in what the bible says is right. If other religions believe the same then so be it. But the bible is the true word of God.
Yes, the Catholic Church teaches respect for other religions and promotes interfaith dialogue and cooperation. The Church recognizes that all people have the right to freedom of religion and acknowledges the value of different religious traditions in promoting peace and understanding.
Christians believe that terrorism is wrong.
The Edict of Toleration had already recognised the right of people of all religions, including Christians, to worship as they pleased. The Edict of Milan granted Christians further privileges.
to show them the wolrd in the right way and to teach them to respect all other religions and races.
None any religion as a result of its existence it must be prejudiced against other religions otherwise it would be one of those other religions, There are any number of religions that preach tolerance and acceptance. Not all of those practice it. The Pagan path I am on requires me to respect the opinions, beliefs, life styles and choices of all others... this is not to say I am required to agree with them, just respect the person or people's right to believe as they choose.
well, there are many things that Buddhism provides( some other religions provide similar beliefs as well) 1. We show kindness to ALL animals, even those considered "evil" (like demons and such) 2. We believe that, with the right education, anyone or anything can become a Buddhist (so lord Buddha says) 3. We respect other religions as well, I might be a Buddhist, but i respect christians as well, 4. We believe that everyone, no matter what, can be Buddhist, and we treat everyone equally. p.s: if you want more info. contact me; gihan.rosairo@yahoo.co.nz
Without being fanatic respect other religions while practicing and believing the rituals of the religion you believe in. Not to try to prove your self right and impose your thoughts on others.
No religion preaches hatred. There are many groups that show intolerance for other, but in general, they all go with the basic premise of the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do under you." All religions think that they are the "right" religion that goes for Christians, Muslims etc, they often forget that their actions is what makes you closer to God. In the end it doesnt matter what you wear, how many times a day you pray or how much money you give to charity, God only knows love and truth and if your actions are just a way to "guarantee" your place in heaven its not going to work.. Love and respect everyone and everything, dont wish anyone bad and keep your morals, values and ethics in the right place.. People need to realise that dogmatic religions divide the people of the world as they think theyre religion is better than others.. Trust me its not just christians!!
That depends on the believer. If one wishes to hold to a faith that can not be proven, it is that person's right to do so. It is interesting, however, that some Christians tell followers of other religions that their faith can not be proven, and that therefore they should become Christians. This, in spite of the Christian faith not being proved.
Jehovah's Witnesses, along with any christians Christiandom, on the other hand, has a bit of a different point of view than Christianity
I believe if you really love someone, you can. If you believe that person is the right one that will treat you with the same respect you do than YES!
