Most Chrysler Sebrings have access to the trunk through the back seat.Fold down the back seat.If you look into the trunk compartment ,back toward the center of thetrunk you should see a glow in the dark release.simply pull the handle.Chrysler was kind enough to equip many of their vehicles with convenience.
This happened to me one time. I had to move the position of the steering wheel up and down to unlock the ignition. Good Luck.

To reset the oil warning light on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Slowly push the accelerator down three times. Next, turn the ignition to the lock position and the warning light should be gone.

It could be the starter, keyswitch, neutral lockout switch, wiring connector or any of a number of other problems. Unfortunately you have to just track it down.
