Yes, most definitely. I've lived there. It's an undeveloped country with many people out of work. They have nothing better to do than to get together in groups and tell everyone their sensational news. True or not, it doesn't matter. Sometimes harmless, sometimes not. What can you do? They get off on that sort of thing. Pity them.
