The Masonic fraternity has no position whatsoever on circumcision.
Nor does the fraternity have any position on ear-piercing (or any kind of body-piercing), tattoos, hair styles or facial hair, what kind of eye-glasses you should or should not wear, etc.
Individual Freemasons, who may be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, etc., may be guided on the matter by their own personal and/or religious convictions, but not because of their membership as Freemasons.
Most Freemasons would find this question to be pretty "off the wall."
This is a form of mutilation they have been told to inflict on their children and on themselves to fulfill a rule made in their Religious teachings. The removal of any part of the body that is functional and healthy is a mutilation. This tradition Has everything in common with female genital mutilation It. It is interesting to note that this is usually inflicted on children that have no idea what is happening to them or control over whether this gross perversion is inflicted on them. Note: Most Jews do not consider circumcision to be "mutilation" in the same way that most Americans would not consider plastic surgery "mutilation". Note Most women who have their genitals mutilated do not consider Female genital circumcision to be "mutilation" in the same way that most Americans would not consider plastic surgery "mutilation".

Yes and no. Circumcision is done for health and religious reasons, but it could be considered mutilation if it's not done properly or if is not medically indicated or required by one's religion. Circumcision is sometimes but rarely medically indicated, and it is almost never medically indicated for newborns. There is no immediate medical justification for routine circumcision; that's why medical plans do not cover it. Always get opinions from physicians when it comes to medical procedures.
It is insofar as it is a lot more severe depending on how extensive the mutilation is. However the practice of the amputation of the male prepuce (foreskin) should also be seen as a mutilation that causes permanent damage to the penis and its effectiveness.
Be dishonest. because there just is no argument that can justufy male genital mutilation any more then you can argue the apropriatenes of Female genital mutilation.

Circumcision is when you remove skin from genitalia. On the men the foreskin and on the women parts of the vulva or all of it. Female circumcision isn't called circumcision anymore but female mutilation since that is what it is. It's more extensive then it is on men and more damaging. There are always 2 sides to everything. Some people believe circumcision should be outlawed because it's mutilation and unethical, while others believe it's a health and religious measure.
