No, German children do not typically wear school uniforms to school. Instead, they usually wear their own clothes to school.

Most german schools don't.
some of them probably do...
Yes, most do.
because its a self of respect
It was decided by the government in 1997 that German students shouldn't wear uniform due to the fact that lots of Nazis wore uniform during WWII. They don't wear uniform because the Germans looked at it like this: "the country has already worn uniform once, why do it again?"
because its important for their daily life.
It depends on the dress code of the school. Some schools may allow students to wear cuff links with their uniform, while others may have specific guidelines that prohibit accessories like cuff links. It is best to check with the school's uniform policy to see if cuff links are permitted.
Most australian kids have to wear uniform to school. Kindy, Primary, Middle and High school kids have to wear uniform if they go to a public school. Exeptions are probably some private schools. Being a high school student, I wear uniform, a rucksack and black or white trainers, (such as tennis shoes, vans, plimsolls etc). In the summer we have to wear hats, again this varies depending on the school. Hope this helps:)

Kids should not wear a uniform because they get dirty too fast.
