The most accurate answer is that we do not know, as The Bible tells us very little about angels. They are described in Hebrews as "ministering spirits" and sex or gender is not usually applied to spirits.
The only clue we have is Jesus' statement that the angels do not marry. Christian theologians have extrapolated from this to claim that angels are neither male nor female.
Outside the Christian tradition, however, things may be different - Muslims believe in djinna (female djinns) and other female spirits. Buddhists (I think) have female figures that might be considered the equivalent of Christian angels.

Just guessing, but I think it is the female equivalent of Gabriel, the name of the angel who is the messenger of God, although angels are male only.
