Tomatoes start out green and as they ripen a chemical process causes them to change colour. Some turn red, others orange, or white, or yellow or even purple. The leaves of the tomato plant are green because of the chlorophyll present in them.

All fruit produce ethylene gas in order to ripen, so by keeping your apples and bananas together in the open you are speeding up the ripening process. Bananas ripen faster than apples, which is why they spoil first.

once they get white, there is no way to turn them green again. May be you can manage the new leaves togrow healthier. However, I dont know how to do that:)
