If you are referring to the Dominican religious order- the answer is a flat- NO! the Dominicans are a Roman Catholic Religious order. There are both priests and nuns. They conduct schools, hospitals etc. Maybe they play along with clausism in-season with the younger children, but unlikely.

People in Ireland call him Santy, Santa and Santa Claus. Santa Claus comes from Saint Nicholas and can then be shortened to Santa Claus or just Santa or Santy. So people in Ireland use those names, like people in many countries do.
