Do I have to disessemble my upright piano if I want to refinish it Are there any books/websites that might be helpful during the refinishing process I can find loads of places who will do it for me, but I'd like to do it myself. Am I CRAZY?

You do have to disessemble to refurbish, Go to your local bookstore and look for books on the process, and no, you aren't crazy.
I would have a local tuner check out the piano to make sure this is worth doing before proceeding! The finish is least important part of the piano.
