If he is not willing to put you first and definetly not distance his relationship with his family then I would say yes. But if he is willing to put you first I would NOT marry him. You're marrying his family. If you truly love him, then you don't get your way, because all you'll do it regret it and spend vast quantities of your life asking 'what if...?'. If you're hugely concerned that you'd marry his family, then you need to consider whether you should be marrying him anyway.
