There are several options to connect an HD tv to your source.HDMI cables can be expensive,avoid Best Buy like the plague as they shamelessly overcharge.Component vieo cables are also an option,these are easily mistaken for rca jacks so make sure the connectors are red,green and blue(RGB).If you have a dvi-d cable it works,but it's not really advantageous.
