Most times, this is age 18, but if the child has not graduated and is still attending school, you are still on the hook. If the child quits school for a period of time (varies per state), or obtains a full time job, then you may be able to reduce payments--but go through the courts--so you don't end up in arrears. Also, some agreements are until age 22 if the child is in college. Whether or not the child has a baby on the way doesn't really set you free of providing support. Bottom line is you are providing necessary funds so your child can be fed and housed.
