Judaism does not have the concept of Original sin. This is a purely Christian concept.

It's purely a Catholic concept, anyone who knows The Bible and knows what it means to be a Christian knows that the Catholic Church and their beliefs don't fit into that definition. Original Sin is one of those beliefs

Ezekiel 18:20 in plain terms says everyone is responsible for their own sin.

What does St. Paul teach about original sin?

The apostle Paul taught much about sin, but he was really too early to be a source of information about original sin. Original sin is concept developed by Augustine of Hippo in the fourth century. With whom did sin originate?

The First Sin commited according to the scriptures was by Eve when Satan tempted her into eating an apple from a tree which GOD had forbidded. She gave the same apple to Adam her husband and he committed the sin as well. So the sin orginated from Adam and Eve and is known as the original sin.

Is original sin a state or an act?

According to the Catholic Church and, to a lesser extent, some Protestant Churches, original sin is a state resulting from the actions of Adam and Eve but washed away by baptism. It was St Augustine of Hippo who developed the concept of original sin, and it was never accepted bythe Orthodox Church or the Churches of the East. The conditional acceptance by the Catholic Church of the science of evolution, will in future result in some tension with the concept of original sin, and may require some adaptation. Already, the Church appears to be moving in the direction of abandoning the concept of limbo, a place where unbaptised babies go, because they are still in a state of original sin.
