I prefer a real tree because you have fun getting it and you feel more excited from like the ever green smell or the prickliness in some cases Fake, its less work , real is a fire hazard. I would say a fake tree causes more damage as it has to be manufactured. Well, fake trees can be reused every year, but real trees are thrown out after every year. I hate to admit this, because we get a real tree every year, and i just think getting a real tree is way better than getting a fake one, for Christmas time
