Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) do not believe in the Trinity. They believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct and separate beings, united in purpose. These three are referred to as the "Godhead".

A Mormon would not say that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three Gods, however. Only the Father is God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Savior of the world. They believe in and worship only one God.

What was Mormonism feelings in the US?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) have very strong feelings about the United States. Mormons believe that the American Continent was preserved as a 'land of promise' for God's people who were separated from the Israelites. (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 2:20) Mormons believe that America will be the site of Zion at the time of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Doctrine & Covenants 57:1-3) and that during the Millennial Reign, Christ will rule from both Jerusalem and the American Zion simultaneously (Isaiah 2:3). Most Mormons also believe that America was the home of Adam and Eve. (Doctrine & Covenants 107:53) Mormons believe that the history of the United States of America was predicted anciently by prophets of God (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 13:12-19) and that the Constitution of the United States was divinely inspired by God (Doctrine & Covenants 101:80).

When Mormons teach that there are many gods and goddesses and we can become one too would the god of this world be one of the autistic gods of one of their godly offspring in godworld?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) do not believe that God is autistic, neither do they believe that anyone will be autistic in heaven. Autism, like all mental and physical ailments, is a mortal struggle which will be erased when an individual is resurrected. All who are currently autistic will no longer have autism in heaven. Secondly, you are taking the god belief way to far. Mormons believe that as offspring of God, man have the potential to 'become like' God - meaning eternal exalted beings. Verses such as Psalm 82:6; Romans 8:17; and Revelation 3:21 are cited. In the Doctrine and Covenants, section 132, it is taught that a man and woman who live faithful to their temple covenants may together become gods (lowercase) meaning that they are eternal and the angels are subject to them.

How do the Mormons view jesus?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called "Mormons") believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior and Redeemer of the world and that there is "no other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent". (Book of Mormon, Mosiah 3:17) Jesus Christ is the central focus of their worship. There are many great websites that detail more about what members of the Church believe about Jesus Christ. Do Mormons believe in the bibical creation?

Yes. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe in the Biblical account of the creation as written in Genesis of the King James Version of the Bible. Some Mormons believe in a literal 6 day creation, but it seems most Mormons believe that 'days' is to be translated into periods of about 1,000 years, as the Bible sas that one day in heaven is a thousand years on earth. (see 2 Peter 3:8) Mormons also have a second account of the creation which is very similar to the Genesis account. It is used less often and is found in the Pearl of Great Price, Book of Moses Chapter 2. (A link to read it is found under "Related Links" below)

Are Mormons considered christains?

It depends on who you ask and how you define what a Christian is. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) do consider themselves Christians. They believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that the Bible is the word of God, just like all Christians. Mormons strive to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives. However, many other Christian groups do not accept Mormons as Christians because Mormons do not believe in the Trinity (God in 3 persons). Mormons believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three individual beings, each sacred, eternal, and perfectly united in purpose. Some Christian groups also reject Mormons as Christian because they believe there is scripture in addition to the Bible and that Jesus Christ leads the Church by speaking to prophets in our modern day. Mormons invite everyone to learn of their doctrines and form their own opinions. Visit the "Related Links" below to learn more about Mormon beliefs or visit a Mormon worship service near you.

Do Mormons believe knowing a Jew will help them get into heaven?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that "there is no other way nor means whereby man can be saved, only through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ" (Book of Mormon, Helaman 5:9. Also see Mosiah 3:17 and Alma 38:9). Mormons, like all Christians, believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

Do Mormons believe that John chapter 3 verse 16 is sufficient for salvation?

Mormons believe that God loved the world and gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world. It is through that blood that men are saved. No amount of works done could be sufficient to save a man were it not for the atonement of Christ, as is told by Christ when denouncing those who thought the Law of Moses to be sufficient. However, Mormons do not believe in "once saved always saved" or the idea that believing in Christ will save them for all eternity. Mormons believe that it is by grace men are saved, after all they can do. True faith in Christ includes following his commandments and enduring till the end. Those who love Christ are saved by His atoning blood, and as stated by Christ "If ye love me, keep my commandments." There is quite a difference between "salvation" and "exaltation".
