Yes. Media over-reporting and fear-mongering have created an undeserved negative image for these dogs.
Any breed of dog can be dangerous if not properly cared for and trained.
There are 4. The Spuds Mckinzie type. They are little, and have the big head. Those are Bull Terriers. Then, there is the "American pit bull terrier", which I have not seen, or heard of in quite some time, although I am sure they are still around. Then there is the most common show/fight dog, which is the "American Staffordshire bull terrier", and a miniature version of those called "American Staffordshire Bull Terrier," which these days, people are calling them "pocket pits." Now, there are sub catergories that brak down like this. And, as far as I know, these only apply to the most common, the Am Staff. A brindle, a red nose, and a blue nose. There is only a difference of colors, and markings, on those, however, they say the red nose is the meanest/toughest, but I don't really know about that. They are, however the most common when it comes to fighting. The blue nose are getting a bad rep. right now do to poor breeding techniques. They all can be mean, if they have bad owners, and all are tough. I do remeber, vaguely, before I got into them, something about a "red tip", which was supposed to have 5 red points. 2 eyes, a red nose, and 2 red tipped ears. But, I have not seen, or heard of one of those, since I was a kid....Chuck.

Baseball has a bad rep
I would say a Pit Bull because not only does it bite it locks on and will not let go until it has done some damage.Another AnswerThe above answer is wrong. A bull-type dog cannot "lock" on when they bite - that is a complete myth. They have very strong jaws but they do not lock!In one study, the Dalmatian topped non-lethal dog bites, although small dogs are known to bite as many are not socialized or trained properly. Any dog can bite if they are not socialized. There are many myths about Pit Bulls which are made worse by the media. Ignorance is a very dangerous thing. Pit bulls are amazing dogs; it's the people who abuse them that should get the bad rep.
Sadly you can not reset it. It is one downside to xbox live. I have bad rep too and it is unfixable.

Yes but you might get a bad rep or you might have a bad (or good) rumor going around.
You can't cancel out the bad reputation in Xbox Live, but what you can do is try to be a better player and instead your good rep will scale and eventually balance out with your bad rep. This means that now you may have had 85% out of 100% of bad rep, however, if you get more people to vote you as a perferred player, that number will change because 100% of the people that voted on your reputation will increase and that 85% will go down. So, Putting it in the simpilest terms I can, the people that hate you won't go away, but you can get more people to like you so that it makes it seem that there is less people that actually hate you.
it can affect you because it's how people look at you and if you have a bad rep people wont want to be around you.
nothing pitbulls aren't as people say. They are very loving. They get there rep from the people who MADE then fight. They are a sweet as can be.
