I am a Quaker living in England and have running water, electricity,a computer, access to a television and radio, etc. I wonder if the poster is confusing us Friends with the Amish?
We have piped water in our Meeting house but only cold water; hot water is a luxury that our former Friends evidently thought was going too far.
