Yes. Most use wall-wart Transformers.
TIA-485 is similar in one respect to TIA-232, in that a UART (universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter) is used to serialize outgoing data and deserialize incoming data. Where TIA-485 differs is in the use of a balanced-to-ground topography via twisted pair cable and special RS-485 line drivers, such as the MAX483 or MAX491. A single cable pair may be used in half-duplex mode or two twisted pairs may be used to set up a full-duplex communications network. As TIA-485 operates balanced-to-ground, it is much more immune to noise than TIA-232. This immunity allows TIA-485 to span much greater distances than TIA-232, up to 1200 meters (approximately 4000 feet), and to operate at substantially higher data rates. Also, multiple receivers and transmitters may be attached to a TIA-485 network, up to 32 maximum. The AppleTalk network was based upon TIA-485.
EIA-232 is designed to have only one transmitter and receiver connected by a bus connection (usually two wire). EIA-485 is designed to have up to 32 transmitters and receivers on a single bus. In 485, only one station can transmit at a time, but it can send to all 32 receivers. So a 485 transmitter must be able to be switched off so it is not affecting the bus. Also any transmitter must be able to provide enough drive to the bus for 32 receivers. There are limits on how much one receiver can load the bus. EIA-485 is only the electrical specification. It does not address how the signals are encoded, how the stations share the bus, protocols, or the effect of propagation delays. There are several standard protocols based on EIA-485 as a lower layer.
85% of 485= 85% * 485= 0.85 * 485= 412.25
66.7% of 485 = 66.7% * 485 = 0.667 * 485 = 323.495
The factors of 485 are: 1, 5, 97, 485.
To find out how many tens are in 485, you divide 485 by 10. This gives you 48.5, which means there are 48 full tens in 485. Therefore, there are 48 tens in 485.
485% = 485/100 = 97/20 or 417/20
The factors of 485 are: 1, 5, 97, 485.
