No, Runescape 1 i closed and the only people that can play are people who created a account while runescape 1 was open.

runescape is a anybodies game you can play even if you are 70+, but just don't let it take over your life. If you have a kid that also plays runescape then jagex actually does suggest that you play along with them since they say it is great for bonding. edit: me and my dad play. he's 45
unfortunately, java doesnt work on ipod touchs or iphones, so you are unable to play runescape, but can you are still able to access highscores and the forums.
